She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy "Butch" Dennis and Hazel Dennis; and her husband Jack P. Canizaro III. She is survived by: her children, Dennis (Julie), Jeff (Karen), Dianne (David), Steve (Kathy), Mary and Scot (Kelly). She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
