He was predeceased by : his parents, Levonce Leverette and Cozie Etta Powe; his siblings, Clyde Leverette, Annie Joyce Cobb, Frederick Leverette and Barbara Packer Leverette; and his great grandchild Kayson Zion Fennell.

He is survived by : his children, Marilyn Gullette of Mobile, Bernadette Gullette of Biloxi, Tischinna "Nicole" Leverette of Forest Park, Tammy Leverette of Austell, Eve Leverette of Lithonia Springs, Georgia and William Gullette of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; his grandchildren, Andre Talley, Lanequa, Mauldin, Yasmine Talley, Destiny White, Ebony McGee, Deante McCoy, Ja'nard Cole, Jalen Leverette, Asia Leverette, Joshua Leverette, Shinia Leverette, Jerrod Leverette, Jacob Nash, Jerold Leverette, Josiah Felps, Jenesis Lee and Micah Battle; and his siblings, Eddie Leverette of Irvington, Willie Leverette (Rochelle) of Stateline, Theresa Evans of Hattiesburg, Elvin Leverette of Stateline, Rosanna Taite (Charles Lowe) of Hattiesburg and Lula Wells Leverette (Houston Wells) of Knobtown, Mississippi. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
