She was predeceased by: her parents, John A. Brewer and Annie Young Brewer; her former husband Drexel D. Smith; her husband Tom Buchanan; and her son Douglas Lee Smith.
She is survived by: her daughter Marquette Rende (Stephen Rende); her grandchildren, Zane Derek Lamm, Stephen Douglas Lamm and Tristan Michael Rende; and her great grandchildren, Saxon Lamm and Madelyn Lamm.
