She was predeceased by: her husband Vernon D. Allen; her parents, Charlie Roscoe and Susan Elizabeth Moore Hoyle; her grandchildren, Brandon Osborne and Melissa Bailey; and her sister Melba Lowdermilk.
She is survived by: her children, Gail A. Bailey, Joan A. Buchanan and Carol A. Miller (Tommy); and her grandchildren, Greg Bailey, Chad Osborne, Ryan Miller and Natalie Miller. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren and a number of great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Adaville Baptist Church (805 Oakland Rd, Spindale, NC 28160). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
