It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Sue Lange (Forest City, North Carolina), who passed away on April 20, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her mother Mary Ida Simmons Whitaker; and her siblings, Catherine Hawthorn and Clark Simmons. She is survived by : her husband Willis Norman Lange, Sr. of Rutherfordton; her sons, Willis Norman Lange, Jr. (Cherise) of Chandler and Travis Edwards Lange (Katie) of Minden, Louisiana; and her sisters, Verda Lee Gladden of Pleasant Plains and Marsha Greene of DeRidder, Louisiana. She is also survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 5:30 PM at the Word of Faith Fellowship Cemetery (308 Godfrey Rd, Forest City, NC 28043). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 6:30 PM at the Word of Faith Fellowship (207 Old Flynn Rd, Spindale, NC 28160).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Word of Faith Fellowship Building Fund, 207 Old Flynn Road, Spindale, NC 28160.
