She was predeceased by : her parents, Archie Herron and Verda Dale Herron; and her siblings, Charlotte Butler and Ricky Herron. She is survived by : her brother Rev. Arthur Herron. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Crowe's Funeral Chapel (118 College Ave, Rutherfordton, NC 28139).
