He was predeceased by: his wife Marcyle Taylor Harper; his parents, Franklin Alexander Harper and Lela Mae Patterson Harper; and his sister Shirley Arrowood. He is survived by: his sons, Regan Harper (Lee Ann), Ivan Harper (Fang) and Marcus Harper (Emily); his siblings, Colin Harper and Marie Gilbert; and his grandchildren, Stephanie Blanton, Taylor Harper and Chelsea Harper. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (250 Mt Pleasant Church Rd, Forest City, NC 28043). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
