We are sad to announce that on September 4, 2023, at the age of 88, Alice Catherine Lee of Rutherfordton, North Carolina, born in Brooklyn, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Anne Williams and Albert Williams; her siblings, Anne Ahern and Albert Williams; and her daughter Barbara Lee Varnes Strehele.

She is survived by : her daughters, Alice Worcester (Thomas), Kathleen Morton of Winter Springs, FL, Patricia Byrd (Ronald) and Anne Lee Gardella of Rutherfordton, NC.. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, many step grandchildren, step great grandchildren and a large extended family.

In lieu of flowers the family encourages donations in her memory, to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church 1024 West Main Street Forest City, NC 28043.
