We are sad to announce that on April 26, 2025, at the age of 62, David Howard Roach of Rutherfordton, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid David farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For David is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Howard Roach and Margorie Hawkins Roach. He is survived by: the mother of his children Janet Sprinkle Roach of Rutherfordton; his children, Wesley Roach (Taylor) of Union Mills and Ashley Roach (Dave Neuner) of Rutherfordton; his grandson Maxwell Wesley Roach of Union Mills; his aunt Ann; and his uncle Joe McGuire of Tyler.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Chase High School Marching Band (make checks to Chase High School Band Boosters), any local music organizations, or The Gideons International—causes that reflect David's lifelong devotion to music, faith, and community.
