With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jemima Ann Sutton of Rutherfordton, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 14, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Robert Sullivan and Edna Mayme Sullivan; and her brother Jerry Robert Sullivan. She is survived by: her husband Frank "Wade" Sutton, Jr.; her daughters, Leigh Ann Harris and Andrea Gale Farmer (Joshua Bradley Farmer); her grandson Thomas Bradley Farmer (Vanessa Rezende); her sister Sammye; her nephews, Brett Miller (Lloydell Miller) and Brian Miller (Gloria Miller); her extended family, Raymond, Diane Farmer, Caleb, Jessica Farmer, Henrique and Priscila Rezende; Addison Farmer.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Word of Faith Fellowship (207 Old Flynn Rd, Spindale, NC 28160).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Word of Faith Fellowship Building Fund, 207.
