He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Horne and Macie Hyder Horne; and his sisters, Guynell Green, Geraldine Horne and Joyce Crowder.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Harmon Horne; his sons, Mark Horne (Debbie) and Charles Horne (Martha); his grandchildren, Alison, Andrew (Samantha) and John Patrick; his siblings, Linda Roach (Leon), Howard Horne and Van Horne (Sondra); and his sisters-in-law, Becky Chapman (Bill) and Deborah Clements (Stan). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
