We are sad to announce that, on September 7, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Merilyn Smith (Rutherfordton, North Carolina). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Merilyn may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Merilyn touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Merle and Irma Dodds Heustis. She is survived by: her husband Clarence William "Bill" Smith; her children, Mark Smith (Linda) and Kristen Smith; her brother Ronald Keith Heustis (Donna); and her grandchildren, Evan William Smith and Emily Joan Smith.
