Myrtle Parton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myrtle Parton (Rutherfordton, North Carolina), who passed away on March 6, 2026, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Myrtle may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Myrtle touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Roy Adams and Eula Hill Adams; her husbands, Clarence Justice and James Parton; and her siblings, Ralph Adams and Faye Hensley.
She is survived by: her daughter Alice Justice Lail (Bobby); and her siblings, Boyd Adams (Shirley) and Ruby Justice. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family members.
