It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Franklin Higgins (Rutherfordton, North Carolina), who passed away on February 21, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Roy's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Roy's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may he find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur and Dovie Mayes Higgins. He is survived by: his children, Barbara Duncan, Danny Higgins and Christopher Higgins; and his brothers, Bobby Joe, Jackie and Wayne Higgins. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
