She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Hamby and Annie Mae Hamby; her siblings, Jerry Hamby and Lorene Lane; and her nephew Martin Lane.
She is survived by: her husband Harlan McGinnis; her son Scott Brown (Teresa); and her granddaughter Sarah Brown (Jordan Carter).
