With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edna Mott (Spindale, North Carolina), who passed away on November 16, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Leonard "Gene" Mott; her parents, Ernest Yelton and Jessie Hutchins Yelton; and her sisters, Josie Fish, Margie Sisk, Thelma Holland and Faye Wall.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen Hudgins (Dale) of Bostic, NC; her brother Joe Yelton of Rutherfordton, NC; her grandchildren, Nicholas Hudgins (Molly Hoyle) of Bostic, NC and Brooke Hudgins of Bostic, NC; and her great grandchild Grayson Hudgins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Fellowship Holiness Church (301 Deviney St, Spindale, NC 28160). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church (301 Deviney St, Spindale, NC 28160).
