She was predeceased by: her mother Mary B. Haywood of Mt. Gilead, NC.; and her husband Ray A. Covington. She is survived by: her children, Ann Roper of Spindale, NC, Kent Covington (Brooke) of Rutherfordton, NC and Gail Covington of Rutherfordton.
