He was predeceased by: his parent Ardie Head Yelton; and his siblings, Dorothy Dixon, Bobby Head, David Yelton and Gary Yelton.
He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Sims (Scott) and Lisa Harmon (Glen); his grandchildren, Haley Turner (Dylan) and Tyler Sims (Rachael); his great grandchild Reed Michael Turner; and his siblings, Brenda Jackson, Sandra Wilson, Geraldine Ledbetter, Carolyn Fowler, Patty Luckadoo and Bruce Yelton.
