She was predeceased by: her parents, Carpenter Crain and Eva Mae Crain; her granddaughter Brandy-Jo Doris Long; her sisters, Emily Hardin and Rachel Sims; her siblings-in-law, Carolyn Crain, Nan Crain, Herman Toney and Nathan Odom; her stepson Lester McMahan; and her stepson-in-law Jimmy Dooling.
She is survived by: her spouse McMahan; her children, Joyce Runyon (Gary) of Wilmington, NC, Tommy Wilson (Heather) of Rutherfordton, NC and Polly Morrison (Jim) of Wilmington, NC; her stepdaughter Pam Dooling; and her siblings, Patsy Linder (Bill), Dita Ree Toney, Martha Odom, Marion Crain, Charles Crain (Jeanette) and Ronnie Crain. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gilkey Church of God (181 Oak Springs Rd, Rutherfordton, NC 28139). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Gilkey Church of God (255 Oak Springs Rd, Rutherfordton, NC 28139). A burial will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at the Gilkey Church of God (181 Oak Springs Rd, Rutherfordton, NC 28139).
