Bonnie R. (Friesen) Herman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bonnie R. (Friesen) Herman of Devils Lake, North Dakota, who passed away on October 15, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland Friesen and Laura Friesen (Linscheid); and her siblings, MaryLou Owczarek and Larry Friesen. She is survived by: her children, Randall Herman (Debra), Robyn Thompson (Kevin) and Rhonda (Timothy Auen); her grandchildren, Stephanie Hayden (Chris), Nathan Herman (Amy), Karan Blair (Chris), Lauren Sprunk (Alex), Justin Herman (Kerry), Jordan Herman (Amanda), George Herman (Nicole), Nikki Schnieder (Beau), Mylie Getchell (Sam), Olivia Johnson (Josh), Davis Thompson (Megan), Tad Thompson (Brittany), Katrece Novacek (Jon), Miriah Thompson, Casey Johnson, Tia Rimola (Matthew), Colin Johnson (Sophia), Darian Johnson (Amber) and Derrick Johnson; and her sister Patsy Spurlin.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gilbertson Funeral Home (509 U. S. Rte 2, Devils Lake, ND 58301). A prayer will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Bethel Evangelical Free Church (1312 Walnut St E, Devils Lake, ND 58301). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Brinsmade Cemetery.
