He was predeceased by: his parents, David Lohnes Sr. (Red) of St. Michael, ND and Ruth Neconish of Neopit, WI.; his aunt Romaine Delabrue; his brothers, Derrick Lohnes and Douglas Lohnes; and his nephew Adrian Lohnes.
He is survived by: his children, Dustin Lohnes, Ashley Lohnes (Orlin Webster Jr.) and Dylan Lohnes (Sammie Jo Charboneau) of Detroit Lakes, MN.; his siblings, Erik Lohnes, Daniel Lohnes (Ruby), Dana Lohnes (Loren), Lisa Romero (Vincent) of Albuquerque, NM and Pamela Lohnes (Holybull) of Fargo, ND.; and his cousins, Angel, Toni, Boogins, Scott, Alfie, Chris, Pat, Tony, Ron, Bob, Jesse Butts, Eugene and Mona.
A procession will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the City Plaza (210 U. S. Rte 2, Devils Lake, ND 58301). A wake will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Tekakwitha Center, St. Michael (136 1st St, St Michael, ND 58370). A prayer will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Tekakwitha Center (136 1st St, St Michael, ND 58370). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Michael's Catholic Church (136 1st St, St Michael, ND 58370).
