We are sad to announce that on May 16, 2025, at the age of 77, Gloria B. Alberts (Devils Lake, North Dakota) passed away. She was predeceased by: her parents, Veronica Thompson and Levi DuMarce; her daughter Karen Littleghost (Christopher "Buddy" Alberts); her uncle Zachary Thompson; her siblings, Leonard DeMarce, Albert Thompson, Richard DeMarce Jr., Sandra DeMarce and Elaine DeMarce; and her grandsons, Shane Patterson Jr., Delbert DeMarce Sr. and Billy Joe.
She is survived by: her sisters, Sylvia Hale (Eugene) and Jeanette BlackCloud; her children, Verle Littleghost, Kenneth DeMarce, Delbert DeMarce and Loren Littleghost; her grandchildren, Denise McKay (Owen), Wichoni DeMarce, Charlie DeMarce, Wambdi DeMarce and Geraldine DeMarce; and her family Celeste Herman (family: Jeanette BlackCloud, Helena Littleghost). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
A procession was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Gloria's Residence. Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, May 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Native American Church Cemetery.
