He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Mike Bachmeier and Doris Bachmeier (Krogfoss); his son John Michael Bachmeier; his grandsons, Gage Austin Flugstad and Dylan Michael Bachmeier; his siblings, Jean Bjerke (Joe), Thelma Bachmeier, Cindy Borgeson (Keith) of Manvil, ND, Monica Bachmeier of Minot, ND and Rodney James Bachmeier of Uehling, NE; his grandparents, Milton, Annie Bachmeier, Charles and Thelma Krogfoss; and his siblings, Joseph Michael Bachmeier, Michele "Shelly" Danae Bachmeier and Rebecca Kay Bachmeier. He was also cherished by eighteen nieces and nephews; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
