She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Zimmer and LaVerne Zimmer (Schmaus); her former spouse Keary Riser; her son Monte (Keary); her daughter-in-law Deb Hoffner; her brother-in-law Rod Sattler; and her nephew Justin Zimmer.
She is survived by: her former husband Greg Hoffner; her husband Mark Olson; her son Toby Hoffner (Tawny) of Devils Lake; her daughter-in-law Crystal Hoffner-Larson (Brad Larson Jr.); her grandsons, Steven Hoffner (Taylor) of Devils Lake, Ryan Hoffner (Madison) of Cando and Nathan Larson (Mykenzie) of Grand Forks, ND; her stepsons, Matt Olson (Sharlene) and Mitch Olson (Jessie) of Crary, ND; her great grandchildren, Zane, Jaimisen, Sylvie Hoffner, Archie and Hallie Hoffner; her grandchildren, Adley, Lane, Lenora Olson, Lincoln and Waylyn Olson; her siblings, Tim Zimmer (Judy) of Phoenix, AZ, Sat Sangeet Khalsan "Martha" of Santa Cruz, NM and Mary Sattler of Fargo, ND; and her close friend Karen Pallansch.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be directed to St. Joseph School or the Devils Lake Elks Community Band in memory of Kathy.
