She is survived by: her children, Kevin "Cowboy" Birkeland (Kim) of Devils Lake and Kathy (Tim Kraft) of Devils Lake; her granddaughters, Jill Vassen and Sara Bachmeier (Adam); her children, Cody Birkeland (Amanda), Blaine Rau (Brandi) and Lindsey Swanson (Jeremy); her brother Marvin Royland of Virginia; her sister-in-law Florence Hoistad; and her grandchildren, Cody, Blaine and Lindsey.
