With solemn reverence, we commemorate Peter Brown of Devils Lake, North Dakota, whose life came to an end on September 8, 2025 at the age of 98, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Peter is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Peter's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Brown and Ragnhild Brown (Lilleengen); his wife Edith Kolden; his son-in-law Dale Carlson; and his grandson Rick Whitman.
He is survived by: his children, Rita Volk (Jack) of Devils Lake, Helen Carlson of Devils Lake, Kathy Whitman of Beulah, Henry Brown (Joyce) of Dickinson and Robert Brown of Las Vegas. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.
The military honors was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Devils Lake Cemetery.
