He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Cavanaugh Jr. and Barbara J. McKay; his sister Danyell Cavanaugh; and his cousins, Jimbo Greywarer and Robert Snell Sr..
He is survived by: his daughter Skyla; his grandchildren, Skye and Yammi; his daughter Haven; his grandchild Haylani; his children, Halle, Royalty, Haydence and LeShawn; his sister Jessica; his nieces and nephews, Jasten, Jace and Joran; his brother Daniel; and his children, Dasan, Daniel, Dwight, Dwayne, Dayton, DaShawn, Jesse, Maci Jean and MorganPatrick.
A procession will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the City Plaza (210 U. S. Rte 2, Devils Lake, ND 58301). A wake will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 5:00 PM and at 7:00 PM at the Crow Hill Wellness Center (7296 ND-57, Fort Totten, ND 58335). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
