He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry and Mary Melinda Herald (Littleghost); his wife Julie Ann; his siblings, Daniel Herald Sr., Virgil Herald, Vincent Herald, Darren Herald, Roxanne Herald, April Herald, Celestine Herald, Theresa "Trudy" Herald, Jeanette Herald, Patsy Herald and Margie Herald Kirk; his grandparents, Sarah (Pasang), Emile Herald, Agnes and James Littleghost; his brother-in-law Rodney McKay; and his granddaughters, Candace Herald and Kimberly Herald.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Ann Herald; his grandchildren, Alisha LaVallie, Tristen Alberts and Tyler Ross; his great grandchildren, Jerzery, Jesse, Marette, Nico, Chase, Wambdi, Jaymison, Kenneth, Ezra, Harley and Asa; his siblings, James "Jumbo" Thompson II, Donovan Kahnapace, Ronda Herald McKay, Deborah Herald and Delbert Herald; his stepmother Lila Vannett; and his aunt Helena Littleghost. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
