He is survived by: his wife JoAnn DeVoogdt; his children, Polly Eckes of Cottage Grove, MN and Kevin Grad of Grand Forks; his grandchildren, Brittany Sibenaller (Jack), Christopher Eckes (Sara) and Justin Eckes-Teeley (Sarah); his great grandchildren, Clara, Elenor-Elena and Henry; his sisters, Eleanore Grad of Harvey, ND, Marlene Grad of Harvey, ND and Mary Ann Rheault (Bruce) of Rugby, ND; his mother-in-law Margaret DeVoogdt; and his brother-in-law Jim DeVoogdt. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
