Betty Ann Langton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Ann Langton of Lakota, North Dakota, who passed away on August 31, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Betty Ann may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Betty Ann touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Winnegge and Emma Winnegge (Strachen); her daughter Penny Jo; and her sisters, Barb Tufte and Susie Wetzel (Jim Langton).
She is survived by: her daughters, Tina Wimer (Craig) of Lisbon, ND and Denise Legacie (Brian) of Lawton, ND; her grandchildren, Ashley Anderson (Ben) of Casselton, ND and Austin Wimer (Jackie) of Gwinner, ND; her sister Kathy Skalicy (Bernard) of Norwich, ND; and her great grandchildren, Rowdy, Weston and Emma. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Gilbertson Funeral Home (509 U. S. Rte 2, Devils Lake, ND 58301).
