He is survived by: his wife Roberta Robertson; his children, Emerson Smith, Evan Smith, Gary "Woody" Smith Jr., Stephen Smith and Lanessa Yankton; his grandchildren, Brinyana Smith, Morley Whiteshield, Kaylee Thompson, Carter Smith, Phoenix Smith, Avery Smith, Dante Smith, Orion Smity, Jordon Smith, Kale Demarce and Julian Demarce; his siblings, Douglas Smith (Marcy), Sandra Malzahn (Dean), Alexander D. Smith and Teresa Bohl (Josh); and his siblings-in-law, Laura Robertson, Jean Robertson, Matthew Robertson and John Robertson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
