She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Wilhelmi and Irene Wilhelmi (Hoffart); her brothers, Michael and Roger; her brother-in-law Ron Possen; her nephew Shane Wilhelmi; and her mother-in-law Patricia Soule (LaMorte).
She is survived by: her husband Dave; her daughter Nicole Widhalm (Chris); her pet Akeyla of Bismarck; her stepdaughter Latoya LaMorte; her grandchildren, Jamiah and Asia of Spokane, WA; her siblings, Larry Wilhelmi of Devils Lake, Gary Wilhelmi (Rose) of Devils Lake, Margie Possen of Devils Lake, Pam Wilhelmi of Devils Lake, Kevin Wilhelmi (Gayle) of Devils Lake and Keith Wilhelmi (Laura) of Onawa, Iowa; and her sisters-in-law, Lori Wilhelmi and Wendy LaMorte (Ron Hadwiger). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
