She was predeceased by: her parents, Dan Ellis and Cynthia Ellis (Burgett) of Benkelman, Nebraska.; her husband Jim; her son Kim; her granddaughter Adrienne; her sister Helen; and her brother-in-law Hubert.
She is survived by: her children, Kelly, Lona Custer of Parks, Tawnia Nichols of Max and Jeff Kier of Rapid City; her grandchildren, Tyson Kier (Jessica) of Gibbon, Travis Kier (Heather) of Parks, Bryan Custer of Parks, Matt Custer (Ashley) of Potter, Brittany McCallum (Trae) of Holyoke, Joshua Kier of Rapid City, Justin Nichols (Stacy) of Benkelman and Brandon Nichols of Atlanta; and her great grandchildren, Tayven, Cobie, Kazlyn, Grayson, Mayson, Atticus, Fenton and Violet.
Memorial contributions may be made to Jean's family to be designated for a future furniture donation to the Hester Home in Benkelman.
