He was predeceased by: his mother Lola Virginia Bauerle (Fitzpatrick); his wife Winifred Lucille Johnson (Johnson); his father Louis Bauerle; his son-in-law Dick Pierce; and his siblings-in-law, Wilma Johnson, Nettie Nordhausen, Kathryn Willats, Robert Willats, Byron Johnson, Richard Johnson and Gerold Radcliffe.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rhonda Pierce of Oswego and Diane Bauerle of Littleton, Colorado; his sister Mona Radcliffe of Ogallala, Nebraska; and his siblings-in-law, Jean Johnson of Imperial and Clint Nordhausen of Imperial. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
