She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Stroup and Jessie Stroup (Seitz); her sister Doretta Stroup; and her niece Marlena Stroup. She is survived by: her friend Laem Rowe; her children, Chris Stroup (Cheyenne) of North Platte and Lacy Dillehay (Tim) of Hoxie, KS; her grandchildren, Lakin Vetter (Garrett) of Kearney and Rachel Mendoza (Mani) of Kearney; her stepgrandchildren, Odin, Bodi, Sheyenne and Sheridan; and her brother Dennis Stroup (Christine). She is also survived by 2 great grandchildren, 4 step great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Benkelman Memorial Chapel (205 Buffalo St, Benkelman, NE 69021). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
