He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Fuglein Bauer Perry and Frank H. Bauer Jr.; and his sisters, Judith Thoelen (Richard) and Marilyn Bauer. He is survived by: his former wives, Cathy Seibert and MaryAnne Bauer; his children, Kristy Bauer, Kimberly Van Vliet (Christopher), Kevin Bauer (Karen), Mickey Bauer (Allona) and Ashley Worobey (Jonathan); his stepchildren, Allyn Jones Jr. and Katie Bauer; his grandchildren, Kaylie, Harrison, Kevin Jr., Hayden, Addison, Emily, Hudson, Henrik and Tikka; and his brother Frank Bauer (Joyce). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the New Comer Cremations & Funerals (343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, NY 12205). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the New Salem Fire Department (694 New Salem Rd, Voorheesville, NY 12186).
