Angela Sheehan Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Angela Sheehan (Albany, New York), who passed away on May 17, 2026 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Angela may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Angela touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Sheehan and Frieda Sheehan. She is survived by: her husband Franklin Laufer of Delmar; her daughters, Alison Halpin (Sean) and Rachel Laufer of Boston, MA; and her siblings, Karin Rickards (John) of Storrs, CT, Michele Danish (Leon) of Barrington, RI, Colleen Towle (Jerry) of Albany, Peter Sheehan (Angela) of Annapolis, MD and Stephen Sheehan (Peggy) of Old Saybrook, CT. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
