She was predeceased by : her parents, Anthony Buehler and Josephine Buehler (Goetz); her husband Francis A. Yakel; her siblings, Anthony Buehler (Rita) and Edna Madigan (James); her grandson Christopher Stewart; and her great grandchild Briana Paige Pologa-Donato.

She is survived by : her children, Ann Moot (Raymond) of Albany, Linda Brown (Richard), Francis Yakel Jr. of Albany, Mary Beth Ardrey (Robert), Paul Yakel of Albany, Ellen Van Valkenburg (William) of Delmar, Christine DiVeglia of Colonie, Edward Yakel (Pamela) of Westerlo, John Yakel (Lisa) of Cohoes, Joseph Yakel (Lisa) of Niskayuna and Regina Stewart of Clifton Park; her sons-in-law, Carl DiVeglia, David Reach and Michael Stewart; and her brother Paul Buehler (Ann) of Delmar. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
