She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Salway and Veronica Salway (Harris); her husband Robert; her son Steven; and her siblings, Dorothy Higgitt-Horton, William, Robert Salway, Arthur Salway, Jr., Brian Salway, Gordon Salway and Joanne Whitney Mason.
She is survived by: her son Ronald; her daughter-in-law Caryl; her grandchildren, Amanda, Daniel, Robyn, Seth and Sean; her siblings, Thomas Salway (Marian), Grace Graziane (James) and Warren Whitney; and her close friend Deanna Cioffi.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the New Comer Cremations & Funerals (181 Troy-Schenectady Rd, Watervliet, NY 12189). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at the Oakwood Cemetery (50 101st St, Troy, NY 12180).
