He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Weinberg and Kate Weinberg; his wife Irma Weinberg; his daughter Wendy Waplinger; and his sister Lore Kaplan.
He is survived by: his son Daniel Weinberg (Susan); his son-in-law Johann Waplinger; his brother Gerhard Weinberg; his grandchildren, Francis Waplinger (Megan), Ashley Besch (Patrick), Andrea Berdick (J. P.), Nathan Weinberg (Rachel), Kim Quartucio (Victor) and Carli Hallam (Jack); and his great grandchildren, Valentina Besch, Ava Berdick, Harrison Quartucio, Kenny Hallam and Hailey Hallam.
Bert was a Milestone Blood Donor, donating more than 130 pints of blood and many more before they starting keeping records. To honor Bert's selfless acts of kindness through the years, the family asks that if you wish to make memorial contributions consider donating blood in Bert's memory.
