He is survived by: his children, McKinley Bernard Johnson, Jr., Michael Andre Johnson (Valerie), Marc Darryl Johnson, Ruby Joyce Jordan (Major), Sheryl Renee Huntley (Walter) and Teria Mechelle Johnson; and his siblings, Theodore Johnson, Samuel Johnson, Edward Johnson, Patricia Hart and Cherie Fletcher. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, godchildren, spiritual sons and daughters, extended family.
