Blanche A. Butcher Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Blanche A. Butcher (Albany, New York), who passed away on May 1, 2025, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry W. Little and Anna Felgentreu Little; her husband George Francis Butcher; her son George F. Butcher, Jr.; and her brother Robert W. Little.
She is survived by: her children, William D. Butcher (Jasmin), Beverly J. Butcher and Thomas W. Butcher (Tiodora); her grandchildren, Jessica A. Floyd, Jacqueline Victorio, Angelina, Alison Butcher, Ryan Butcher, Niki-Lynn Butcher, Madori, George Butcher and Liam Butcher-Regan (Shannon); her siblings, Audrey Little Wall (late Arnold) and Henry W. Little Jr. (Antoinette); and also Leslie J. Butcher. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
Donations in Blanche's name may be made to the Teresian House, 200 Washington Ave. Ext., Albany, NY 12203, an Albany Roman Catholic Diocese organization served by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, where Blanche was treated with the utmost love, care, respect, and concern and where she had the opportunity to teach, guide, entertain, and love those by whom she was surrounded.
