He was predeceased by : his parents, Ellis Springer and Winifred Springer; his daughter Monica Springer; and his stepson Georgie O'Brien. He is survived by : his wife Jacqueline "Jackie"; his son Brian Eric; his stepsons, Ian O'Brien (Tara) and Stuart O'Brien (Maria); and his brothers, Gary Springer (Jacquelyn), Dennis Springer and Kevin Springer (Robin). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Comer Cremations & Funerals (343 New Karner Rd, Albany, NY 12205). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
