It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charlene J. Herrington (Albany, New York), who passed away on July 26, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Gapp and Margaret Gapp (Gibson); her siblings, George Gapp and Peg Cleveland; and her brother-in-law William Cleveland.
She is survived by: her husband Wayne Herrington; her children, David Herrington (Colin McKnight), Debra Herrington and Keith Herrington (Katy); her grandchildren, Chance and Charley Herrington; her siblings, Robert Gapp and Lyn Randolph (Ron); her sister-in-law Marcia Gapp; and her siblings' children, Jason, Carter Cleveland, Tiffany Cleveland and Brandi Gapp.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the New Comer Cremations & Funerals (343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, NY 12205).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Charlene's name can be made to the Mohawk-Hudson Animal Shelter.
