She is survived by: her daughter Zuleika Sánchez-Gayle; her son-in-law Andrew Gayle; her granddaughters, Isabella and Naomi Gayle; her siblings, Miledy, Bartola and Luis; and her friend Celia Mata. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, extended family.
