He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert M. Tierney and Audrey Bell Tierney; and his son Stephen Capron. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Rourke Tierney; his children-in-law, Amie Capron of Essex, England and Jenson Capron of Essex, England; his siblings, Michael Tierney (Marsha), Timothy Tierney (Sharon) and Beth Ann Tierney (Michael McNary); his sisters-in-law, Mary Beth Rourke Numann (William) and Martha Rourke McElligott; and his friends, Joe Quirk, Tim Slattery and George DeWitt. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
