He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald C. Sims and Frances Walsh Sims; his wife Patricia E. Sims; and his sister Barbara. He is survived by: his children, Joseph M. Sims (Danielle), David Sims (LiMessa), Daniel Sims and Jamie-Marie Shiner; his stepchildren, Tanesha Corlew (Jack), Barbara Senn (Eaton), Kyral Eaton (Deshi) and Frederick Eaton IV (Ciarrai); his sister Mary Smith (Shawn); his grandchildren, David of Shawn, JR, Bram, Mikhail, Kory, Quint, Elliot, Kristin, Alexa, Kimberlie, Krystal, Corisa, Amber, Taylor and Katie; his great grandchild Kaia; and his pets, Brutus and Ziva.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Compassionate Funeral Care (402 Maple Ave, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Clements Roman Catholic Church (231 Lake Ave, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866).
