She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Newell and Margaret Newell (Peggy); and her sister Carol Newell. She is survived by: her husband Joel Jacko; her son Brad Jacko (Kathleen); her grandchildren, Troy and Victoria; her daughter Shawn Stewart (Kyle); and her grandchildren, Grace, Tommy and Sadie.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the New Comer Cremations & Funerals (343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, NY 12205). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Diane's name to: Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Albany or the Alzheimer's Association.
