He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. George Kenneth Noakes and Kathryn Noakes of Cooperstown, NY; his sisters, Suzanne and Nancy; and his nephews, Matthew and Christian.

He is survived by: his children, David Noakes (Allie) of Clifton Park and Dhianna Yezzi (Peter) of Saratoga Springs; his wife Catherine "Katy" Noakes (Wick) of Cooperstown; his grandchildren, Everett, Evelyn and Easton Noakes; his siblings-in-law, Stu Collier and Lois Wick Collier; and his friends, Tom, Mary Morrison, Gar, Ann Lala, Lori Hendrick of Wellsville and Chris Nye of Guilderland.
