“In loving memory of Douglas Erikson, Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. We remember Coach fondly. I was privileged to not only work with him but he also (along with Marie) took my son Michael under his wing while he was battling leukemia in elementary school. He made him an assistant coach on those days where he couldn't participate. This meant so very much to us and made sure our son was still part of things in a special way.”
